The Royal Knockout is an Pop/Rock band based in Bowling Green, Kentucky and was formed in March of 2012. The trio is comprised of Corey Pruitt (Lead Vocals, Lead Guitar), Lance Freeman (Drums, Backing Vocals) and Derek Ellis (Bass Guitar, Backing Vocals). With Corey Pruitt taking the helm, he illustrates daily struggles, victories, or life lessons that each member has learned through his descriptive lyrics. Aspiring to create something that was different, raw, and honest they wished to convey their hearts as individuals through their music.
