The Riverbreaks is an indie rock band based in Washington, D.C. After forming in 2009, the band released its debut album Get You Right on April 7, 2011. The name The Riverbreaks comes from the band’s song Piedmont and serves as a metaphor for the genre breaking D.C. group. Like the music, the band’s songs and lyrics reflect journeys and geographies, resulting in a sound that is uniquely Southern, yet globally influenced. Ryan Bailey (lead singer)
