About The PsyChai Shop
The band was initially formed by old schoolmates Nikhil David and Leo Joy in June, 2011. Leo and Nikhil had been playing in different bands and have performed a number of gigs at different places across the country. In 2010, at one of David’s gigs, they decided since they both have the same idea and taste in music, to start their own band. In June 2011, they met and started jamming on the weekends. The band had Ish Abbi (from Leo’s old band) on rhythm guitars but later had to leave the band for further studies.
