About The Pretty Blue Guns
The Pretty Blue Guns are a South African garage/indie/blues band. They have 3 official releases: Dirt EP (2008), Cutting Heads (2009) and Shed Your Skin (2011) The title track of their most recent album "Shed Your Skin" reached number 1 on 5fm's local rock chart, as well as number 1 on MK (South African music TV)'s alternative music top ten. They have toured SA extensively and played most of the festivals there. Frontman Andre Leo and drummer Lucas Swart recently began a new psych-rock project called The Very Wicked.
