The Pourmen is a New Bedford-based five piece band that blends many Celtic, Folk, Bluegrass and Rock influences to craft heart-felt songs from the Cobblestone Streets and Salty Pubs of the “Whaling City”. Instrumentation includes fiddle, mandolin, tenor banjo, guitar, banjo bass and cocktail drum kit. The band has released two albums as of March 2015 - "Too Old to Die Young" and "Pour Another". Their Irish-infused punk sound and Boston roots make their closest relatives The Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, The Gobshites and Street Dogs.
