The Porktrashers are one of Canada's hidden rock n' roll gems. Based in Toronto, Canada, The Porktrashers follow in the footsteps of great Canadian indie rock bands such as 54-40, Lowest of the Low, The Tragically Hip, Sloan and Eric's Trip. After years of playing the bar scene, the band set out to record its debut CD in 2006. Working with famed producer and friend, Gggarth Richardson (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against the Machine, Hedley, Rise Against)
