A lot has changed since The Playing Cards first released their 2007 debut album, “Fight Forward”. Those days are long gone and their musicianship and sound have matured significantly. As they look forward to releasing their latest EP entitled “Underwater” slated to be released on May. 15th 2009. Socially conscious and socially awkward “Underwater” is twenty-five minutes of heavy pop that tip its hat to such artists as Sonic Youth, The Pixies, Neil Young and Pavement.
