About The Pier Group
Era: late 90's Place: Lancaster NW UK Tapes from room 3. The Pier Group had been formed from the split of the original The Puma-Sutras around about 1995 maybe 1996. Originally featuring one Jacob Polly on vox this stuff is from the 2nd incarnation: Paddy Garrigan, Ben McCabe, Scott Morley and Richard Chamberlain but only a couple of songs. Every rehearsal for about a year the band recorded tapes of rehearsals with the intention of turning jams into songs which of course never happened.
