About The Pajama Game Original Movie Soundtrack
The Pajama Game is a 1957 musical film based on the stage musical of the same name. The principal cast of the Broadway musical repeated their roles for the movie with the exception of Janis Page. At the Sleeptite Pajama Factory the employees are lobbying for a seven-and-one-half cents raise. Management brings in a new superintendent, Sid Sorokin (John Raitt), to keep the peace and to prevent the raise. The employees' representative, Babe (Doris Day), takes an instant disliking to Sid.
