The Original Snakeboy's "Press Kit Biography" ~ Snakeboy grew up in New Orleans…steeped in the Deep South Delta Blues tradition. He started playing music as a young teenager. Jazz, Blues, Dixieland, Gospel…all part of the menu…stirred into a spicy gumbo that is The Original Snakeboy today! Inspired by Duane Allman, Snakeboy took up slide guitar. In 1981he took a drive "for the weekend" to Austin Texas.
