About The Open Trio
This project started as an idea of the drummer/composer Andrey Piryevec (http://www.myspace.com/aandrayp). His aim was to rearrange original compositions for the purpose of the trio (now expanding to a quartet). The scope of the group is to present a different approach to the sound and texture of the music itself, which is their biggest trade mark. Their debut concert happened to be in the great London venue “the Blag Club” in May 2009. It was immediately a success
