The Number Eight was a music project in Kalamazoo, MI from 2009 until 2011. It was heavily influenced by dream pop, shoegaze, post rock, and slowcore. The Number Eight started as Tim Tapper's solo endeavor, though later included Carman Goodrich on guitar and singing saw, as well as some temporary members at live performances and on a few recordings. You can find some archival uploads of The Number Eight's music on the Proglacial Productions YouTube channel.
