The New Soulmen was a very-short-lived 60s rock band from Slovakia (then part of Czechoslovakia) founded by Dežo Ursiny after he had dissolved his previous The Soulmen in spring 1968. The band's career was undermined at an early stage in August 1968, when Czechoslovakia was invaded by the Warsaw Pact armies, and the general depression and situation in the country in the aftermath contributed to the group's breaking up by the end of that year.
