THE NEW ALCHEMY was founded by sound and visual artist Per Svensson in 2002. Started as an experiment in art and sound at Kolsyrefabriken Records in Stockholm, Sweden. Stems from the art/noise group AUDIO LABORATORY founded by Per Svensson and Henrik Rylander in Gothenburg 1997. Members of the band started their careers as artists at Radium 226.05 Records in Gothenburg during the 8o..s.
