About The Netherlands
There are two bands with the name The Netherlands: 1) the netherlands are a dutch musical group formed in 2008. the band consists of Boyke Kooijmans, Jean-Luc Rouvroye, Patrick Thüss, Rob van Uden and Ted van de Wijdeven. After their 2009 debut ´We are not´ the band significantly changed their musical direction, abandoning pop forms in favour of a more abstract approach and using traditional live instrumentation to create electronic sounding music.
