Mortimer are a five piece band based in London, UK The band were formed in 2000 when keyboardist Marco Bensi joined singer/songwriters Rich Kent and Ben Hampshire, guitarist Jonny Lord and drummer Matt Hayday. They all met at Durham University and started as a cover band playing gigs in colleges and bars.
