Independence, United States (2009- present) The Morning Phantasm is an experimental dark ambient band hailing from Independence, Missouri. The band name is inspired by the cover art to The Morning Phantasm's debut album, Eggplant. The album covers extremely dark topics such as rape, suicide, molestion, infatuation,and the idea of spiritism. The Morning Phantasm is the brainchild of Matthew Mann (5:12), who samples instruments, plays the electrical keyboard, organ, and experiments in curcuit bending.
