The Monolith Deathcult is a Dutch death and industrial metal band from Kampen, formed in 2002 under the name Monolith. The band was formed in 2002 by guitarists Michiel Dekker and Martijn Moes, bassist and vocalist Robin Kok and drummer Sjoerd Visch under the name Monolith. Under this name the band released their debut album The Apotheosis in 2003, although the group was also known under the name The Monolith Deathcult. In 2005, the second album The White Crematorium followed, whereupon keyboardist Carsten Altena was heard as a new member.
