About The Millions
There is more than one band by this name: (1) The Millions were a Lincoln, Nebraska alternative rock band formed in 1989. The band's membership was drawn from two earlier cult acts in Lincoln--guitarist Harry Dingman III and drummer Greg Hill had played in For Against, while vocalist Lori Allison and bassist Marty Amsler were members of New Brass Guns. The Millions became one of very few Lincoln outfits to ever land a major-label deal when they signed to Polygram subsidiary Smash Records for their 1991 debut album "M Is For Millions.
