About The Mile Markers
There are two bands with this name: It is the name of a folk group from Denver, Colorado. The heart of The Mile Markers rests in Julie Stratton (guitar/vocals) and Bevin Foley (fiddle/vocals). After meeting serendipitously in 2002 mutual friends urged the two to collaborate musically. Soon it was strikingly apparent that the music each woman created complemented the ot her perfectly. The Mile Markers were an emo band from Norway who later changed their name to The Union Policy.
