Haunted by the raw music history of their hometown, the Memphis Dawls have found their voice with a new class of lyrical and romantic folk. Guitar, violin, cello, trumpet and percussion hum like a freight train while three part harmonies give the group a sound as diverse as it is addictive. Holly Cole, Jana Misener & Krista Wroten began creating music together in high school. Although the surroundings were less than romantic, their sound was powerful even then. The three rejoined after roaming the country for college and other bands.
