About The Last Tycoons
The Last Tycoons were formed in 2007 from the embers of hotly tipped Dublin band Porn Trauma. The single 'Loving Arms' was released in May '07 and was well received, with Hotpress calling the band 'a refreshing alternative to the raft of copycat, post-punk pretenders doing the rounds.' They also quickly gained a reputation for their live shows, In Dublin's live review described their sound as being 'redolent of frightening, isolated American bars, where strangers are viewed with suspicion until they prove they've a stomach for the local beer.
