
There are two bands named The Jugs: 1) The Jugs were a band from Vermont that released one obscure record on Green Mountain Records in 1981. From Acid Archives: "It seems there was a Deadhead combo in every tiny burg around the US by 1980, perhaps in the wake of the Grateful Dead's legendary 1977 tour. The Jugs are unlike most other Dead clones in several ways, the most important being that they sound weird as hell. I wouldn't be surprised to learn they were on LSD when they cut this album
