About The Jeb Burgersteig Band
The Jeb Bürgersteig Band (the umlaut is occasionally omitted) is a one-man folk project formed in Chicago, USA in 2011. Song themes are mainly focused around real-life experiences in a part spoken-word, part blues-ramble style over chord progressions based around simple jazz chords on an acoustic guitar. His first album "Hype as Fuck" was released December 10th, 2011 on Wedding Dog Recordings. Many of the songs on his debut album were recorded in one take, during a heavy rainstorm.
