About The Jato
The Jato would be better described as an idea rather than a meaning. The Jato is David Sponaugle on vocals and guitar, and Booth White on drums. The idea would not have been possible without the sequence of musical and personal events that have taken place in the past few years for these two friends. The two had played in a previous group by the name of "Open, Parachute!" and performed as a Quintet. This band was known for having a very energetic live show and an "epic" sound.
