
The Industrial Jazz Group (IJG) is an acoustic "new jazz" ensemble showcasing the music of American composer Andrew Durkin. Formed in Los Angeles as a quintet in 2000, the IJG has grown in size and scope with each of its four albums (the fifth album, LEEF, will be released in early 2008). The group currently consists of fifteen musicians: eleven horns (five brass and six reeds), three rhythm section players (bass, drums, piano), and a singer. Although based on the (US) west coast
