About The Hot Tropics
The Hot Tropics are an alternative-funk-progressive-rock band formed in the garage of 148 Ilam Rd, Christchurch in 2009. They consist of Dylan (Gif) Gifford (lead vocals), Simon (Dragon) Wilson (guitar, saxophone), Pete (Uni-cycle Pete) Jacobson (bass guitar), Rupert (Dad) Williams (lead guitar) and Andrew (Dutz) Dutton(drums). The group emerged from the stricken ashes (lets not call them 'stricken ashes', how about 'amateur experimental noises')
