The High Trees: an authorized biography. The High Trees is an indie rock band formed in mid 2006, initially took the name Le Mat, in honor of the first card of the Tarot of Marseilles, they interpreted versions of its different influences (Radiohead, Elvis Presley, Pixies, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, etc). The name was abandoned by the law of synchronicity, because there was another band with the same name on the national scene Then, seeking a new name comes the name The High Trees, inspired by the movie "Control" by Joy Division.
