With no relation whatsoever to the better-known Johnny Kendall & The Heralds, sixties garage beat group The Heralds hailed from the town of Breda in the southern Netherlands. They started out in 1963, featuring ex-members of Daddy And The Vibrations, The Blue Hunters and The Electric Strings. There had been some line-up changes by the time they recorded their only single, 'I Wish I Was Strong' b/w 'Wait (For Me)', released on Philips in October 1966.
