In the first phase of the experiment, members of the Doors and Butthole Surfers were locked in a room together and subjected to 96 consecutive hours of "Beavis and Butt-head" before being offered release in exchange for writing ten songs as quickly as possible. In the next phase, two young males between the ages of 16 and 19 were required to perform and record the songs from Phase One utilizing only one electric guitar, one bass guitar, two antiquated 2-track tape recorders, and found household objects of their choosing. The rest is history.
