The Hard To Get is an indie rock duo out of Los Angeles, CA (Echo Park). Singer/guitarist Melissa Kaplan and drummer/cuica enthusiast Tim Lee met in 2005 and started a collaboration that neither anticipated would last this long. Their music reflects the fact that they weren't blessed with great attention spans. Bands they both like: Metric, Sleater-Kinney, Mates of State, The New Pornographers. Themes you'll find in their music: Pop sensibility, movement, boy-girl harmonies, riffs fans say you'll remember in an hour.
