The Hammer Party are a Noise Rock band from Providence, RI. The band was formed out of the ashes of Hot Knives who had a show booked with locals The White Mice. When Hot Knives disbanded the remaining members St. Jacques (vocals) and Von Croce (drum machine and bass) decided to keep the spot on the show by recruiting Andy Newman (guitar) to form a Big Black tribute band calling themselves The Hammer Party after the album of the same name.
