The Guppies formed in the depths of a local suburban garage and are influenced by The Vaccines, Cloud Nothings, The Libertines and a whiff of petrol fumes from the trusty family Volvo. Their sound evokes wild memories reminiscent of sneaking out at 2am, the angst of being a teenager and the warmth of grandpa’s favourite loafers. Being named Triple j Unearthed High finalists, regular airplay of ‘Never Liked Mondays’ and ‘Bad Blood’ along with festival slots at Groovin The Moo
