About The Great Northwestern Hoboes
During the winter of 2002, Marc Hannon and Stuart Irwin met for the first time and discussed forming a band. Unfortunately, they didn’t meet again until over a year later, but on the same day as being reintroduced they made their first recording together. By the following month they were performing together live as The Great Northwestern Hoboes around the city of Liverpool when, one fine mid-summers evening, they were watched by a familiar looking stranger, Robbie Taylor, in a basement on the outskirts of town.
