About The Great New Wonderful
A Folk Rock/Post-indie band performing and recording in the early summer of 2008. The band, later formed by Elan Elias and Jim Haney, had been an idea floating around. Titled after one of Elan's favorite movies, The Great New Wonderful began writing songs and performing at local venues. Most of the popularity generated about The Great New Wonderful is caused by their appearance, just as a two peice band similar to The White Stripes and Two Gallants, it includes just guitar/electric and drums.
