About The Gravity Car
Cincinnati, OH-based art/punk power trio, led by Stephen Sunday. Active from 2004-2005, exactly one year. Fused psychedelic retro sounds with punk energy. Numerous live recordings exist, as does a single, "Tokyo"/"Wise." Band fell apart during recording of the single, though Sunday later formed The Pretty Petty Thieves while completing production of the record. Lineup consisted of songwriter Stephen Sunday (ex-Tears on Sunday) on guitar and vocals, and Jeff Snyder (500 Miles to Memphis) on bass and backing vocals.
