About The Granola People
…the granola people have been writing, recording, and performing their brand of acoustic-guitar based, harmony-driven new-folk music since 1993. During this time members Andrew Muncaster (voice, guitar) and Frank Deresti (voice, guitar, banjo, etc.) have developed a distinctive style of folk music that is difficult to categorize, but easy to appreciate. A typical granola people show may incorporate elements of folk, country, bluegrass, jazz, funk, gospel, and whatever else happens to be floating around in the collective headspace of the duo.
