The Good Old Fashioned Sinners started as a collaborative project to express oneself through music, sound, song, and noise. Formed by Brandon Lipford, Matt Wenzel, and Dave Hirsch circa summer 0f 2005 in the city of Chicago, the group has seen a revolving door of members, contributors, collaborators, and muses. Starting off, the group was essentially improv-based combining elements of psychedelia, noise, free jazz, and folk. These elements stayed with the group as they evolved in to writing more song based material.
