About The Glass Kites
The Glass Kites are an acoustic duo from two small towns near Harrisburg, PA, and are comprised of Emma Finkenbinder and Allison Speck. The two high school friends formed the tandem in 2008 and almost immediately recorded a number of songs with the aide of a friend's home recording equipment. Their sound is a mix of acoustic alternative and country. In terms of content, most of their songs deal with coming-of-age themes and relationships - and these often overlap with unexpected grace.
