The Future Tards of Jazz is a loosely organized confederation of retired and nearly retired session musicians rehearsing and recording in Jacksonville, Florida. For this reason, the lineup is in a constant state of flux. The band leader and composer is John Crowell, a former industrial designer from Lake Charles, Louisiana.
