The Fut is a one-off 'band' born during a break in recording of a Tin Tin session produced by Maurice Gibb of the Bee Gees. Apparently Mr. Gibb's drunken John Lennon impression was intended solely for those on hand. However, the tape of the Kipner/Groves song was supposedly pilfered by an engineer and released without permission on Beacon Records. The song has erroneously appeared on several bootlegs as a lost track by The Beatles, but no members of that band were involved.
