the free mansons are a freak-folk act based out of massachusetts and nova scotia. influenced heavily by the psychedelic sounds of the 1960's and the fuzz of the 1990's, their sound is often characterized by a lo-fi approach to production and a minimalist approach to song composition. a founding member of the halifax based radiator collective the bands members include francisco lopes, christine king, and thomoon. however, other members of the collective are often featured in live performance's and have been included on recordings.
