About The Fred Bison Five
The Fred Bison V are an alter ego of The Bevis Frond, AKA the legendary Nick Saloman. One album, titled Beatroots, was produced under this moniker in 1992, on Nick's now defunct record label Woronzow Records. It came about after Nick's frustrations with Reckless Records over releasing his previous album, London Stone. An idea to produce a fun, one-off beat-group-inspired track quickly mushroomed into enough tracks to release an album. The overall feel of the album
