The Fischers are latest band from Jamie Holman (the former mainstay of Track and Field band Tompaulin). Their debut single was released towards the end of 2007 on Lost Music Records. The band have already been already been gaining rave reviews for their live shows. Here's what Sounds XP has to say about the band "tapping into the same sort of mythic American songpool as the Jesus and Mary Chain, the Velvets and Galaxie 500. If the start of the set was as good as the last four songs I want to re-make their acquaintance very soon."
