About The First Ornaments of Christmas
From the quiet land of Northwest Arkansas comes The First Ornaments of Christmas, the brain-child of Bentonville, AR resident Bryce Napier with contributions from a giant cast of musicians, illustrators, and animators. Composed of 11 songs that tell the Christmas story in an unusual way, the project combines classical-infused indie rock music, narration, and accompanying animation. In the live setting, the 9-piece band performs with narrative breaks between songs while animated footage illustrates the story as it's being sung/spoken.
