Fillies Of The Week were one of many Ragman Records from Cedar Falls, Iowa, US bands that litreraly existed for about one day (along with others such as MANIB and Football Without Love/Love Without Cheer). The band was formed because of Mike Hays and Steve Wilson failing to show up for a No Consensus practice because they had girlfriends. So the other three band members hooked up some recording equipment, invented a new band, and recorded a CD that leads off with the creepiest cover of Neil Diamond's "Heartlight" ever.
