About The Fashion Statements
The Fashion Statements were formed in the summer of 1998 in Lawrence, Kansas. The original line-up was Adam Geffert on guitar, Judge Simpson on bass and Derek Noll on vocals. There was only one problem, no drummer. After writing several songs, Adam decided to move to drums while Judge and Jay took over the guitar duties. The band decided to ask Jeff Dory, former vocalist and rhythm guitarist for Subject to Change, to fill in bass. Jeff proved to be a more than adequate bass player and the four piece was rounded out.
