About The Fall On Deaf Ears
The Fall On Deaf Ears was Laura Beard, Clint Newsom, Sarah Reiser and Cedric Bixler. Following the completion of there first self titled EP, Beard and Reiser were tragically killed in an auto accident on their way home to El Paso from Austin. Bixler went on to form At the Drive-In and more recently The Mars Volta, while Newsom moved to Austin and started Rhythm of Black Lines. The five songs on their self-titled EP are the only ones ever recorded by the band, and are a lasting snapshot of the West Texas punk scene of the mid-90's.
