The everpresent melancholy is a one-man act based out of Santa Clara, California, all comprising of vocals and guitar work performed by Travis, a twenty-something whose melodies and lyrics attempt to strike a chord with the emotions that reside in all of us, namely those of loss, but more importantly, hope. The name "the everpresent melancholy" refers to the underlying sadness that can linger from broken hopes, dreams, and relationships, even in the midst of the wide array of emotions we all feel.
