There are at least 3 bands called the Escape: 1) An indie rock band from Bedford, UK. 2) Melodic wave and gothic – that is what THE ESCAPE stand for since they had been founded fifteen years ago. Being based on synthesizer sounds in the beginning, the band from Bielefeld constantly changed their style towards gothic rock in the course of their history, like the 1999 album FAITH AND DECAY proved.
